👋Some of our members were at the opening day for ARB Midland last weekend..

🌭✈️Thanks to the support of ARB the club will be able to donate all the funds from the sale of the sausage sizzle to Royal Flying Doctor Service - a service that supports all Australians, especially adventures like us in our unfortunate times of need..

🛻Having your tourer prepared for road adventuring will often keep you out of trouble or have the ability to contact help if needed.. something that the friendly staff at ARB Midland can help with, so go check out their new store and get their expertise 😀

🛑The Captain Fawcett track is now officially closed for the winter season🛑 Please let people know so we can keep this track open for future summers, this is a normal seasonal closure. 🛻🛻

Here's hoping next season comes around quickly!🤞

Big thanks to the Armadale 4wd Club who have adopted the track and do so much to help look after the track each year. 🙌

🛻We would like to again acknowledge and thank the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for supporting our club with a grant to update our aging flag stands to new, more stable and user friendly stands that we took out to our 4wd event this weekend and stood up when some car awnings didn't (😬)with the over night winds 💨💨 We got some great feedback at how good they looked and some interest in the club 🛻

👋👋A great effort from some of our members at our Ledge Point clean up.. disappointed in the amount of rubbish and total disregard for the environment and the 4wd and camping community.. sadly this is only a small dent in a much bigger problem 😢 Please remember to only leave tyre tracks, foot prints and take out everything else with you.. Happy adventures!

👋👋The Armadale 4wd Club will be out at Ledge point and surrounds this weekend for our annual clean up weekend.. A reminder that there is no legal camping at ledge point beach & dunes, and we have word that rangers will be visiting.. 💰💰💰Fines may be issued! (The club has permits to camp) please do us a favour and take out your own rubbish and clean up the area around you 😀 Happy long weekend adventures

🔥🔥Did you know that there is no 4wding during these bans? It doesn't seem to be common knowledge, please share with your friends and loved ones that we need to stay out of the cars during weather such as this week 🔥🔥

Do you know the rules of the game when it comes to a Total Fire Ban? 🔥🙅‍♂️

🚨 RED LIGHT 🚨

🚨 Firing up a Weber, BBQ, smoker or pizza oven that burns solid or liquid fuel
🚨 Off-road driving – 4WD, quad bike, motorcycle or similar
🚨 Hot work including angle grinding, welding, soldering, and metal work
🚨 Campfires, bonfires and any open-air fires

✅ GREEN LIGHT ✅

✅ Using gas or electric BBQs
✅ Power tools – as long as the power tool does not create a spark.
✅ Battery-operated lawn mowers (not on dry grass)
✅ Generators in an area clear of vegetation

It’s been a busy start to summer, with our firefighters already responding to more than 560 large bushfires across WA since November 🔥😲

Remember! Failing to follow the rules of a Total Fire Ban could land you a fine of up to $25,000, 12 months in jail, or both. Don’t play games when it comes to fire safety!

Restrictions apply to the general public, while businesses and industries can proceed under the regulatory framework. For a full list of activities that can or cannot be carried out during a Total Fire Ban and the applicable conditions, visit dfes.wa.gov.au/totalfirebans
