Armadale 4wd Club

Armadale 4wd Club Welcome to the Armadale 4WD Club
The club was formed in 1984 by a small group who saw the need for a 4wd club in the Armadale area. Membership cost is $80 p/a.

A family freindly 4wd club who come together to enjoy all types of outdoor adventures - from basic beginners to experienced and educated, this club has something for all ages and skill levels to 4wd, camp and explore local and beyond lands - see you soon! The club has grown over the last 38 years and now has over 50 members, we are also affiliated with the W.A. 4WD Association (inc). Over the year

s the club has hosted many events, including the Inter-Club Gymkhana, Bush Dance, and Night Navigation. We are a family-orientated club with members ranging from teenagers through to retirees. The club has 12 committee members that meet once a month to deal with club administration and also a social committee that organises trips, fundraisers, and other social events. Trips and Activities
Trips and Activities are run throughout the year. Any member can run a trip which could be something as simple as a drive along the beach to something as challenging as a four-week trek on the canning stock route. We also have weekend trips, overnighters, or just a day run, visitors are welcome to attend any trip free of charge and depending on their experience will be guided and advised on how to tackle any obstacles that we may encounter en-route. How to become a member
We ask that visitors come along to two meetings and two trips before applying for membership, this gives you a chance to see what we are all about and also gives us a chance to get to know a bit about you. This includes a club magazine each month with information about club trips, tracks, trip reports, and photos, etc

Meetings are held at Kaarakin,(formally Cohuna Wildlife Park) 322 Mills road east, Gosnells WA 6110 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of each month (except January)

Benefits

Some of the benefits of being in a 4WD Club include the 4WD insurance scheme, having other vehicles with you on trips, members with years of experience in the 4WD, and knowledge of the bush, tracks, fishing, camping, navigation, vehicle maintenance, etc

๐ŸŽ‰We would like to put out a huge thank you to some of the guys from TJM Kewdale and a CFT page follower Russell, for volunteering their time to helping us clear trees, drain off some water and cut back some of the over growth!๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ›ปThe day was a lot of work, with a lot of mud and a lot of fun - We really appreciate thr support

๐Ÿ›‘Captain Fawcett Track - STILL closed! But hopefully not for to long..! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

๐Ÿ›ปSome members will be down there this weekend doing track maintenance and a condition report for DPAW to hopefully get the track open again soon! Please remember its a closed track currently and for the safety of our members "IF" you had a plan on heading to the track this weekend.. (also remembering there is no vehicle insurance on a closed track..) You will need to turn around and go back the way you come from which is no fun.. Bare with us while we do what we can and keep watch on for when it opens!

Happy Halloween!

๐Ÿ†Last night the club had its annual President's Dinner where the Clubman of the year and the President Merit awards are awarded..

๐Ÿ†Congratulations to Sam our enviromental officer for Clubman 2025 - for gaining the most clubman points by running trips and participating in club adventures while keeping some of our tracks clean and in good order ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ† Another Congratulations to Sarah our Madame Vice President for being awarded the Presidents Merit award for her continued hard work, dedication and efforts in the clubs day to day running and participating in 4wd education and adventures to out newer members, you will find her in her own car taking on challenges with her side kick Aria who earlier this month was awarded ๐Ÿ†Junior Clubman of the year for her efforts in attending trips, supporting trip leaders and now even organising her own events!

It's been a great year seeing new members and some of our "younger" members really stepping up to keep the adventures going on a safe, educated and respectful way by being apart of an associated 4wd club - its clubs like ours that will keep these adventures alive.. check out the WA 4wd Association page for more info on not just our club but multiple over the state ๐Ÿ‘Œ
