reflections as I turn 34:

-People will always reveal their true selves.
-As they unveil their true selves, you will learn to mourn and accept the fact that that's who they are.
-People from your past have a reason why they still belong in your past.
-Your life, your choices - we may not choose our family or where we are born, but we can choose the life we are going to lead.
-Kindness will take you far.
-If you understand that we all face struggles, you will realize that all of us are simply trying to live.
-Work as though you are working for God; work ethics will always be a testament to your identity as a person.
-Life will never be about competition; work at your pace.
-As you work in your own timeline, never pressure yourself with everything you see. The grass may look greener on the other side because it's fake.

-I have seen the highest highs and the lowest lows, but at the end of the day, we will just all the same (trying to survive)
-It's not true that it's lonely at the top; it can be lonely if you do not bring the right people with you.
-Your family may never be perfect, but they are yours.
-Things happen; let them go.
-If all your plans don't work out, find comfort in knowing that eventually, everything will fall into place, "All things work together for good to those who love and obey the Lord."
-We are not perfect; that's why we have a gracious God.
-It’s never too late for anything. Trust me, I learned to drive at 33 this year!
-Someone else's success doesn’t diminish your own; stay focused on your own journey.
-A red flag is still a red flag.
-You can’t change someone unless they choose to change themselves.
-Narcissistic individuals will always see themselves as victims; protect yourself—you won’t win that battle.
-Life teaches you humility as you grow older.
-People know what they’ve done wrong to you; they just refuse to accept it.
-The more you encounter things that don't serve you, the clearer it becomes.
-Loyalty is one thing; being considerate is something entirely different.
So cheers for growth love and life itself! it may not be perfect but it is wonderful!🥀

For the past few months, it has become a tradition for us to have our mandatory Saturday brunch at local cafes, enjoying each other's company. It's pure bliss!

What is the cost of your freedom?
I saw a post on Facebook asking about it.
Lately, I've been contemplating my life.
Why is it so difficult to find happiness?
Why do some people have it so easy?
Why do I have to do all of this?

And then there are the "what ifs."
What if I move back home?
What if I move to another country?
What if this, what if that?

But I've come to realize that we only have one life. And in between our goals and dreams is the act of living.
It's about savoring the moments, thriving through confusion, and living despite everything.
Even though I'm still learning to embrace my current season, I will always be reminded that no matter how scorching the summer may be, I am confident that in autumn, I will enjoy the changing colors of the leaves. In winter, I will have a cozy cocoa on my porch. And soon enough, the flowers and trees will quench their thirst in spring.

Regrets are the echoes of our past choices that linger in our minds, reminding us of the roads not taken and the opportunities missed. They serve as powerful reminders of the importance of living in the present and embracing the ever-changing nature of life. Life, like a flowing river, should never stagnate in the pool of regrets. Instead, it should move forward with purpose and resilience, learning from past mistakes and using them as stepping stones towards a brighter future. Embracing the lessons learned from regrets, we can grow, evolve, and make wiser decisions that shape our path towards a more fulfilling and meaningful existence. Life is a journey, and it is in the movement, the constant flow, that we find true happiness and fulfillment.

In a world that can be harsh and unforgiving, it is of utmost importance to transform your home into a sanctuary, a tranquil haven where you can seek solace after a long day of facing the unknown.

“The Beauty of Patience”

Recently, I’ve found myself thinking that my progress this year has been disappointingly slow. However, in these seasons of waiting, I find solace in the knowledge that God has already prepared something incredible for me. Though I may not understand it all right now, there is a sense of peace within me, assuring me that everything will work out in the end. Even though my human heart may be impatient, I trust that the journey will lead me to something truly amazing. It’s akin to the promise of a breathtaking sunset - no matter how long the days may seem, I can always be certain that the sunset will be beautiful.
