Sometimes motherhood changes your life so completely, you grieve the woman you used to be.
I grieved my career, my independence, and the version of myself I thought I had lost.
Then one moment reminded me that while it’s okay to grieve what has changed, it’s also important to see what is still in our hands.
A home. Food. My child. Another day together.
Motherhood isn’t always about losing yourself. Sometimes it’s about finding a new version of yourself — with a different purpose, different priorities, and a deeper kind of gratitude.
For every mum struggling with identity after motherhood, leaving a career, becoming a stay-at-home mum, motherhood loneliness, or finding yourself again — your story is still being written. 🤍
