This is the state of the Sunraysia Highway at Waubra today, with potholes, crumbling sections of bitumen and plenty of water making conditions even worse.

For a major regional highway, it’s a pretty ordinary sight and certainly not what motorists should have to navigate.

If you’re travelling through the area, take it easy, keep an eye out for potholes and allow plenty of room where it’s safe to do so. Some of these holes could cause some serious damage to a vehicle.

Drive carefully out there.
