UNPOPULAR OPINION:

We owe Jonas Gomora an apology.
Everybody is busy calling him the villain, but after watching The Polygamist, I couldn't help asking myself a simple question:
How many times did Jonas ask to leave?
How many people benefited from the lie but now want to act like they knew nothing?
Was Jonas perfect? Absolutely not.
But was he the only one responsible for the chaos?
I don't think so.

🌧️💨 Following this week's severe weather, City of Perth crews have been working hard to clear fallen trees, branches, debris and flooding impacts across more than 50 locations throughout the city.

From parks and reserves to roads, footpaths and public spaces, our teams have been working to restore safe access and keep Perth moving.

A big thank you to our dedicated staff and contractors for their tireless efforts during the clean-up. 💙

In Australia, July is typically the coldest month of the year. While the winter solstice (shortest day of the year) occurs in June, it takes time for the land and oceans to cool down, resulting in the lowest average temperatures in July.

While Queensland does experience a winter season in July, it's generally mild compared to other regions of Australia and the world. The "coldest" month in Queensland, like Brisbane, still sees average maximum temperatures between 11°C and 21°C, with nights occasionally dipping to around 9°C. This is due to Queensland's location and climate patterns, which include a dry season that can lead to warmer days and cooler nights.
