How can I put this simply??? A hard 2000 tonnes of landfill PASS!! ❌

If the Albo government can slap 👋🏼 down negative gearing, and skim our stocks & crypto profits (in the name of rebalancing the housing market, of course!), surely they can slap these k**b hockey’s with IP infringement on every - single - item - on - their - shelves and just shut this s**t down!

It’s open thievery, encouraged by stagnant wages and paying $3000 for our groceries.

Let me caveat this first - I am pro AI if used well & wisely!

I think it can unlock incredible potential & has the ability to bring more attention to the ideas & conversations to the forefront that matter, than praps in the ways that we are used to are capable!

But, i’m not pro bulls**t. Playing with images to present a falsehood, to gather interest in real estate 🏡 via duplicitous means is actually a dick move!

Obvs, agents have been dabbling in the dark arts for some time (fish eye kitchen images anyone), but this is a new low.

Real estate agents out there thinking this is good for business… it ain’t. We already put sales people & lawyers in the same 💩 category…. This isn’t helping!

What do mean you would turn down that gorgeous pool & landscaped garden?

Look 👀 - it is gorgeous, my kids would love it, but I already have a pool, and it’s high bloody maintenance. It costs money to upkeep & as the kids get older, they honestly swim less… but;

I don’t have raised veggie 🥕 gardens, or a place to grow edibles & lean into biodiversity. I would need to change my entire yard or design it for food growth in mind as we face east & the ideal areas get scorched 🥵

Dream homes or elements of wish lists look very different for all of us.

I care less about having a magazine worthy house & 🏡 more about having a home that we love living in & grows with us.

Our quirks are the best bits right?

🫶🏼 Confession : my fridge has a calendar, magnets, the lot!

👉🏼 I have s**tty kids art in frames & some questionable ‘pottery’ on display!

👉🏼 My dining table is over 15 years old and has the battle scars of 3 growing boys & a corner chewing cat (one of 4 in this tables lifetime) to prove it 💪🏼😮

👉🏼 My kitchen is never spotless. There’s always a dish on the drainer - and the remnants of food after breakfast that is often unidentifiable - they ate, it’s win!

🙏🏼 But you are welcome here with your shoes on.

👣 Your feet are allowed on the coffee table if that makes you comfy.

👍🏼 You can help yourself to anything.

This is a home full of activity. Never quiet, always running between school run, sports & endless piles of laundry… 🧺

But, everyone that visits say they love how it feels.

Maybe it’s because we don’t scramble to hide who we are. Sure, we do the 2 hour frantic clean up before hosting, but even then, you’ll still feel like part of the furniture.

Bring back a time when everyone wasn’t trying so hard to impress.

I miss it, don’t you?

Not since the daily scathing takedowns of the Hollywood Diet (Ozempians) has a ‘transformation’ captured the gram more… and what’s worse, it ironically resembles the countless s**tboxes popping up all over Australia.
