Our sweet Miss K, walked into our wild heart studio on Tuesday and shared her light, energy and beautiful heart with us - and we couldn't have been more grateful that she trusted us with such a very special and inspirational journey.

Miss K enjoyed a very special pampering with our dear Jade Sheree Makeup Hervey Bay Qld and arrived for her session, with her hair & makeup, looking absolutely flawless!!!!

Her nerves were gone in minutes and she joyfully immersed herself in the moment - and that was so special to watch!

She was brave, beautiful, confident and happy and it truly was an honour to capture her ..... her light and her story, in this way.

During Bella's Rescue Empowerment Session, my girl did something I didn’t direct… she simply moved.

She lay down, turned away, curled gently into herself, and wrapped her own arms around her body ~ as if choosing, in that quiet moment, to hold the one person who has carried her through the storm… herself.

This year asked too much of her heart.
The world was louder, harsher, and far less kind than any 13-year-old should ever have to face.

And in that moment, it was like the little girl inside her, needed to just .... be.

In this little pocket of stillness, she chose peace.
She chose safety.
She chose her.
A moment of solitude that looked like surrender,
but really… it was strength.

A soft, calm, powerful reminder that sometimes our children don’t need to be told who they are —
they need space to feel it.
To remember it.
To reclaim it.

To any parent walking a similar road:
Hold them close, but also let them hold themselves.
There is magic in watching them turn inward ~ not to hide…
but to heal.

While we may not be able to protect them from the world, we can create a world where they always know, we are their home, their safe haven, we have their back .... that they can lean on us for strength and protection - but ultimately, a world where they feel an abundance of love and acceptance for who they are.

As the school holidays approach ... please take the time to enjoy your little people.

They're only little for a little while ... and despite how much different life is from generation to generation, they all need our love, space & time ..... and that will never change.

Give your love freely.
Show them what they mean to you.

Let the world spin without you while you orbit in awe around them.

Hold them close.
Their lives are precious.

🔥❤⭐ WILD HEART RESCUE EMPOWERMENT SESSION FOR OUR SWEETHEART, MISS B ⭐❤🔥

Yesterday, our little darling wanted to share 5 of her favourite images from her very special photo shoot.
Today, it's my turn 🤩

Lots of emotions came out of yesterdays's session ....
Reflection on the difficult year that was, putting to rest all that no longer serves her, rediscovering the happy in her soul, feeling empowered in her own skin, exploring what renewed self confidence, self esteem, self worth, bravery and beauty FEEL like ... but mainly just feeling free to be herself ... and what that looks like for her.

She danced, sang, acted, squealed, laughed and had fun, just like a 13 year old girl.

But she has this intuitive ability, to know how to pose ... perhaps growing up with a photographer from when she was a newborn, has a lot to do with it!

Sometimes she looks like a young girl ... other images, she looks like a young woman.

It's both the blessing and curse as her mum and her photographer.

I enjoy the moment in that time with her ... I immerse myself in every minute ~ but I look at her photos, and my heart feels both pride .... and sore.

OIur little girl, seems to have grown up fast .... and in her place, a young woman has appeared.

Yet in real life ... the reality of how she actually looks, doesn't seem to marry up with the vision of her in my mind.

But what happened last night? She sat beside me as we went through her photos and she said "Wow Mum!!! I love that photo of me!!! or "Mum, I want to write a book ... I want to share my story and tell my truth. That will be the cover! or "I look so pretty!"

I knew then, we had helped to fill up her cup ... and help her rediscover her true identity.

She wanted to find her confidence again.
This morning, she has woken up with confidence in abundance.

We're both so happy for her - her soul feels lighter and her heart, happier.

Any parent will tell you, they want their child to be happy.

To actually help her find that again, was a tremendous gift and I'm so grateful to have had this time with her.

Hopefully her session yesterday, will help her to navigate the years ahead with more s***k, courage, strength and the wildest depths of her heart, than ever before.

This is 13 in 2025.

❤🌹⭐ SNEAKPEAK FROM TODAY'S SHOOT FOR OUR DARLING SWEETHEART, MISS B ⭐🌹❤

On the edge of 13 .... going on 14 next year.
This year has been filled with intense challenges for her - far too great for any young woman.

She found her courage, spark, fierceness and strength ~ and continued to show incredible resilience, despite the hopelessness that threatened to consume her.

Today, was all about her ~ and was written in the stars months ago ⭐

Her day started with some pampering & her first set of foils with the amazing Jess at Rose Quartz Hair ... then sushi for lunch - followed up with her very own Sweetheart Empowerment Rescue photo shoot with me 🥹🥰

A full throttle empowerment photo shoot to lift her confidence, self worth, self esteem & self acceptance - was in her destiny.

Her requests? Some nice portraits, lotsa fun, giggles, k-pop dancing, cow-girl/Beth Dutton vibes and just the freedom to be herself.

You got it my baby.

Dad and I are so very proud of the young woman you are becoming, darling.

We will always have your back, and protect you to the ends of the earth.

In the meantime .... you can rest easy in your own power, beauty and strength. Lean into that always.

Remember - darkness can not survive, in the presence of abundant light - and your light shines brighter than anything else our little warrior.
