Well, we're back for 2026, hoping to deliver a deeper dive into local news, directly into your inbox. It seems at least some of our elected councillors are trying to make sense of our mega council's finances: $2.2 million could be from assets that are on the books but when you go and physically inspect them they're no longer there so you have to write them off. Now that's a fair bit of spillage, don't you think??
