We snagged this great little free camp along the Murray River, just outside of Corowa, NSW (though Grantham’s bend is on the VIC side of the border) 🤩
Plenty of space and only 5 mins from town 👍🏻 will definitely be putting this one on the favourites list!

We’ve got three kids — two of them adults now (how did that even happen?).

Dan’s been self-employed since 2010, and I started my own business in 2016… so trust me when I say — we know the hustle. The long days, the pressure, the constant “go, go, go.”

But somewhere along the way, it all got too much.

So we did something that felt scary… we stepped back.

We became less available. We stopped saying yes to everything. And in doing that, we saw really clearly who was in our corner… and who wasn’t.

I blinked, and my kids were grown.

And it hit me — this life isn’t meant to be rushed through.

We’re choosing slower mornings, deeper breaths, more time together, and a life that actually feels good to live.

Because at the end of it all… you don’t regret the things you did.

You regret the chances you didn’t take 🤍

There’s nothing quite like a fresh catch for dinner 😋🎣
We caught some Golden Trout at the Stony Creek Fish Farm. We got them to fillet it for us so we didn’t have stinky fish guts in the van 😷😂
We used 3 fillets for tonight’s dinner and we’ll freeze and use the other 3 in a cashew & coconut red curry next week 🤩
But for now fresh, crispy skin, Golden Trout on the BBQ with some cous cous & broccolini 👏🏻👏🏻

Edi Cutting Free Camp 🏕️
A great little spot along the King River in the Victorian High Country.
There’s two sections, we stayed in the South end. There’s a toilet and a fair bit of room but the majority of the spots are under some big Gums which made it not so great for solar this time of year.
You can access the North side from the south through the track with caution. We are 15m and we went through fine taking it slow. Big rigs probably better accessing the northern end from the road.
If you can get a spot on the northern side it’s much more open, more spots and much easier road access. Over all, a pretty great spot on either side 👍🏻

First stop on the mainland ✔️
Straight off the Spirit of Tassie and into the wild 🐾

Werribee Open Range Zoo did not disappoint… wide open plains, incredible animals up close, and that “are we even still in Australia?” feeling 🤯

We treated ourselves to the Deluxe Safari Tour and it was 100% worth it — next level experience getting right out there amongst it all.

Best part? Seeing Huddy absolutely light up the whole time 🥹
Core memories made.
