- JUNE EDITION -

Almost ready to go on the shelves, June's edition of the Echo is another beauty. Leading the highlights for this month is the SA Award won by Barunga West Council, for the Port Broughton Civic Square development. Marcia has a heartwarming and captivating story about Mr Perini, a ship jumper - a must-read story! Fiona takes a walk along Broughton Beach South, Greg and Penny travel along the Chilean Coast, John Cummins talks all things 'Team Cobber' supporting the RFDS in SA and Heidi tells us about the celebration of food, family and local community spirit at the IGA. And of course, there are our regulars, PBAS, PBAS Creatives, Environment, Sport and Community and much, much more. Look for the edition with the International Truck on the cover.

- MAY EDITION -

How good is Leah Townsend's cover photo for May, taken from Barn Hill near Mundoora? It beautifully complements Fiona's story about her hike up Barn Hill. This month we have an interview with council's new CEO, Mark McDonald, there's an ANZAC Day wrap-up, and a story on the Bute Lions Club celebrating fifty wonderful years. There's news from PBAS and the Kindy, PBAS Creatives winner is announced, and Ros has a riveting travel story again. May is History Month and we have some interesting contributions from Marcia, Trevor, Julie and Leonie. There's a story from Christy Barnes about an exciting time with the launch of Broughton Mundoora Football Club's very own U16 Girls Team, and of course the Calamitous Cook continues with her calamitous cooking! We are at the printers now, in store soon.

- APRIL EDITION -

We can't believe we have just completed the April edition of the Echo and it will be on the shelves by 1 April. No joke!

This edition has a large section covering all things ANZAC including an absolute beauty by Fiona Fleming, 'Exploring the old Clements Gap Army Camp'. There's a story on the fabulous Op Shop/Hospital Auxiliary Fashion Parade, Bute Community Pantry and the Bute Dressing of the Graves. And the really big and cheery news, Chloe Cheer is the new manager of the Central Deli bringing her expertise to the deli. There's council news, PBAS news, PBAS Creatives, Sai brings a fun slant on the end of the cricket year and there's a story on the big grand final win for the Port Broughton Tennis Club. Our newest contributor, Janet Moore, gives us an insight into our shore birds and their extraordinary migratory patterns.

This Echo is a beauty. Find it in your favourite participating store with the sheep on the front.
