BONDI ATTACK MEMORIAL: THE DOUGLAS SHIRE REMEMBERS.

An emotional, and albeit very windy memorial, for those lost, injured and impacted in the Bondi Attack on the 14th December 2025.

We had a beautiful traditional Hebrew 🙏 prayer recited by a local Jewish lady and another by a visiting Rabbi from the USA.

The Douglas Shire has for many years welcomed our Jewish friends from all over the world 🌎.

We love you. You are always welcome here. We are family.

Thank you to all who joined us today. I'll leave it out overnight and attempt to light candles 🕯️ tomorrow morning.

A moving moment and one I'll never forget.
