I spent the most magical winter’s afternoon at Grazed & Grown Farm on the Comboyne plateau yesterday. After a super tasty lunch, we ventured out to see the chickens, pigs, day old piglets, cattle and the of course the two very inquisitive maremmas. Check out their produce available at a number of locations throughout Port Macquarie. Record breaking floods here in Port Macquarie
I met the owner of a rug store in Short street who said that the water was chest height in his store. With insurance rising as a result of COIVD he commented that he was underinsured. He also said that his AMG Mercedes was parked at the shop's rear adjacent to the swollen Kooloonbung Creek. I also met the champions from Tandoori Kitchen Indian Restaurant who were donating a free meal to those affected by this natural disaster. What an amazing town, full of resilient people.
