Awesome time spent at Copeton Dam with Bev Stewart, bev.stewart.90, a little bit wet and windy at times but we managed to stay dry and safe! New techniques were used with success thanks to John Sorban, fishing_is_living_355, for the tips! Can’t wait to get back and chase the PB👍🐟🎣🐠

As an avid angler and 2 time participant of the goldcoastflatheadclassic, I can confidently say this event is a highlight of my fishing calendar. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is electric-enthusiasm fills the air as competitors from all walks of of life gather to share their passion for flathead fishing!

The organization of the event is top-notch, with everything meticulously planned to ensure a smooth experience for all participants. The stunning backdrop of the Gold Coast is the perfect setting, and the thrill of competing against fellow anglers adds an exciting edge. The sense of community here is truly special; it’s not just about the competition, but also about camaraderie and shared stories on the water.

Another Gold Coast Flathead Classic done and dusted, tough fishery as always, but these little surprises are always a welcome sight!
Massive thank you to the guys from plasmannsoftplastics for their continued support, it really is appreciated, and keep an eye out for their new release tonight at 6pm. I’ve used these lures in the GCFC and they are pretty awesome!
