*💥 Melbourne: The proposal to move the T20 World Cup final to the roofed stadium was rejected.*

The decision to change the venue was not possible due to the lack of a drop-in pitch in the other rooftop stadium in Melbourne itself.

The T20 World Cup final is to be played at MCG, Marvel Stadium has a roof, but there was a motorcross there in the past, currently there is no drop-in pitch.
Also due to logistical problems, it will not be possible to do a lot in a short time including broadcasting and changing tickets.🏏 🔰

Oct 24 - A Pakistani journalist was shot dead in Kenya, in what authorities described as a case of mistaken identity.

The journalist identified as Arshad Sharif was shot in the head when a vehicle he was traveling in was flagged down at a road block in Kajiado on Sunday night.

"It was a case of mistaken identity," a senior police officer said, "police at a road block were looking for another vehicle that had been circulated."

And when the vehicle the journalist was travelling in was flagged down, police said, It did not stop and police pursued it and opened fire.

"It is very unfortunate incident," he said.

Two other people who were in the car sustained injuries after the car lost control and rolled. They are hospitalized with varied injuries.

Javeria Siddiqui who is Sharif's wife tweeted, describing the incident as "tragic."

"I lost friend, husband and my favourite journalist [Arshad Sharif] today, as per police he was shot in Kenya," she wrote.

Tribute to Bali bombing victims
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will attend the Sydney commemoration of the Bali Bombing in Coogee this morning to honour those killed in the attack.

Observed since 2003, the Bali Commemoration Ceremony is held at the Bali Memorial at Dolphins Point.

The site was renamed in honour of the six members of the local Coogee Dolphins football team who were killed along with friends and family members in the bombing attack at the Sari Club in Kuta, Bali.

Eighty-eight white doves will be released as friends and family gather to remember the loved ones they lost on that day.

The area was chosen to honour the six members of the Coogee Dolphins football team killed in the blast.

In total, 43 people from NSW died in the bombings.

Three bombs were detonated at two nightclubs in the Indonesian capital, with responsibility claimed by the militant group Jemaah Islamiyah.

The explosion killed 202 people and wounded more than 100.

The birds will be released after the names of the victims are read aloud and a minute's silence is observed.

A large-scale sculpture will also be unveiled by artist Sasha Reid
