🚣‍♂️ A Glimpse into 1932 Melbourne 🎞️
This incredible 16mm film — capturing rowers on the Yarra River in 1932 — was recently discovered tucked away in a cupboard. Thankfully, it made its way to us at ROAR Digital for restoration.
We repaired the original film, then scanned, digitised, and restored it to bring the footage back to life. 🛠️✨
Our restoration process included:�
✔️ Scanning and digitising the 16mm film�
✔️ PFclean dirt and dust removal�
✔️ Scratch concealment�
✔️ Flicker reduction for smoother playback
Proud to preserve pieces of Melbourne’s history, one frame at a time. 🖤
