TraxFM Tuesday:

TraxFM have 2 general meetings coming, both are open to our wonderful community!

The first is a General Meeting, come along and share any ideas you may have for our station. This one is in October.

The second is our Annual General Meeting, this is where the board will provide updates on what we’ve done this year and nominate the board for the coming year. This one is in November.

Yet another Stray Kids birthday celebrated today, 3 members born in September. Seungmin was born on this day in 2000 and he is the youngest of the 4 members born in 2000.

Tuesday 23rd September:
Elvis Presley, once rejected by the Grand Old Opry, was posthumously inducted into Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame back in 1998.

Wednesday 24th September:
In 1988, Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy" became the first a ca****la song to hit no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Thursday 25th September:
Back in 1967, little-known country singer Dolly Parton made her first appearance on The Porter Wagoner Show, singing two songs from her debut album: ‘Dumb Blonde’ and ‘Something Fishy’.

Friday 26th September:
The Rocky Horror Picture Show opened in Westwood, California on this day in 1975. The movie tanked but later became a cult classic with audience members shouting back at the screen.

Saturday 27th September:
Lizzo played a few notes from a crystal flute once owned by US President James Madison at her concert in Washington, DC in 2022. The flute was on loan from the Library of Congress.

Sunday 28th September:
On this day in 2022, ‘Gangsta's Paradise’ rapper Coolio died aged 59.

On this day in 1970, Jimi Hendrix was found dead in his basement.

Friday 19th September:
Way back in 1960, Chubby Checker's version of ‘The Twist’ went to no. 1 in America.

Saturday 20th September:
