In 2018, Stray Kids released their music video for ‘Awkward Silence’ (more to this fun fact in the comments).

Thursday 28th August:
Guy Stevens (music producer/manager) died in South London, aged 38 back in 1981. He produced The Clash's third album, London Calling.

Friday 29th August:
Back in 1993, Liam Payne of One Direction was born in Wolverhampton, England.

Saturday 30th August:
Rihanna, aged 17, released her first album, Music Of The Sun in 2005. The lead single of the album is the hit ‘Pon De Replay’.

Sunday 31st August:
In 1971 John Lennon left England to start a new life with his wife, Yoko, in New York City.

In 2005, ‘Walking In Memphis’ singer Marc Cohn was shot in the head during an attempted carjacking in Denver, Colorado. He made a full recovery.

Friday 8th August:
The Beatles shot the photo for their Abbey Road album cover at the crosswalk outside Abbey Road studios, where they were recording back in 1969. Thus creating the world’s most famous crosswalk.

Saturday 9th August:
S.Coups of K-Pop boy group Seventeen was born on this day in 1995.

In 2013, singer Eydie Gorme died six days before her 85th birthday.

This is a great opportunity to dispose of those large household items including old fridges, mattresses and furniture, at no cost.

Please note that free disposal is for domestic hard waste only (please see the list of items below).

TraxFM listeners may have heard about Sweeney Todd in our community diary, but for those who haven’t yet, we are less than a week out from opening night 🤯😮

We held our last rehearsal last night before we hit the theatre (aka start living at the theatre) on Saturday!

We did a full run and are beyond excited to bring this dark, gritty, revengeful musical to you next week! Opening night Thursday 24th July $20 per ticket!

Miss Thursday’s opening….dont despair…..it’s not the end for you! (your not a Sweeney Todd customer😉) There is still a Friday and Saturday night show!
