Our state of the art website allows you to send us your stories, which are then checked and published to the website every day, the stories that are of interest to the community, gauged by some clever technology on the website, are the ones that our journalists then follow up further on and get right into the story. It is with great regret that we have decided to cancel this evenings Fiery Finale event.

We have been monitoring the weather and whilst the drizzly rain might clear later, the wind is forecast to increase.

After consulting with the team at Portland Fire and Rescue, we have decided for public safety and enjoyment of all it is better to cancel today and reconvene the event at a later time.
