Hoory at last. Futaba's latest instruction manual for the soon to be available 26iZ is a huge improvement. Whoever wrote it has done an excellent job. A copy, in English, is available for download at https://futabaproshop.com.au/

Thanks for the Spitfire Dad. Wound up this baby up, slow and four point rolls beautifully. Thanks for teaching me how to do that all those years ago. More importantly how to deal with test flying customers tail heavy planes.. Touchy, with 3mm of elevator throw since I second guessed your initaial setup, four flights today confirmed CoG finally sorted. .

OS GT 60 now run in. Understand OS Engines suggested 23X8 run in prop. Now that's over, protoype 22x10 and 21x10, and 21x 12 Menz but I cannot really say untill I get the cooling right. Menz was good but too much blade area for this model weight. Thinking a 21x12 APC will be the go. Anyway eight eight point rolls with a Spiitfire is high on the list.

Damo did a fabulous flight with his Phonix Corsair. The scale detail on that ARF would make a traditional scale judge cringe. Damo and I battled it out in our ongoing round of FMS Super EZ Offs. Sort of recurrency emergency training we do that because we try stuff we wouldn't dream of doing with our big stuff. We continue to shake our heads how good this model is. FMS made a mistake by putting a cheaper spinner on V3. V1 was a cracker. A better mousetrap just lLike Sullivan Products prop lock for EP. Please Mr or Mrs FMS, don't change anything else. Just put the price up if need be.

Marvelled at Damien's OMP M2 heli and his skill then Chris did a few sorties with this amazing foam EDF Phantom before successflully test flying his identical Corsair. Test flying is a skill itself. Well done.Chris for believing you were ready to launch.

Monday presented perfect Autumn flying conditions and I finally nutted out the correct take off technique for the Spit. Went back to basic taildragger technique. Finally managed to hook and work a thermal with the Multiplex Bizzard. Yay! Capped of with a tour of the Yarra Valley in Damien's EuroFox.

Confirming no protests lodged yet Correct Weight for the Super EZ Off was not provided before publishing deadline.

Excellent Weekend.
