Does the future influence the past?

It sounds like a paradox. But maybe it’s not.

I was reading an old diary of mine today.
Words I wrote years ago… forgotten feelings… scattered thoughts.
But as I read, something shifted inside me.
I felt motivated. I felt seen.
And somehow, I changed.

It made me stop and wonder—
Did I write those pages back then… for this very moment?
Was that version of me unknowingly trying to reach the future me?
Did I plant a seed I’d only understand years later?

What if your past self isn’t just a memory,
But a quiet architect of your healing?
And what if you, right now, are writing something
that your future self will one day need?

Time isn’t always linear. Sometimes it loops.
Sometimes it listens.
So leave pieces of yourself behind.
You never know when you’ll need them again.
