Two years ago today, Lesedi and the Purple Lotus was released into the world. 🌺
My very first novel. My heart on the page. My love letter to our ancestors, our resistance, and our magic.

From the shores of Africa to the swamps of Louisiana, from rebellion to rebirth. This story began a legacy.

Thank you to every reader who believed in Lesedi’s journey, who held this story close, and who made space for the beauty and pain of our history. Thank you to for seeing the vision and helping me bring it to life!

From " About a year ago, I tried hosting something called the "Writer's Circle". I tried launching it during a time when my personal life was in a major transition and so the Writer's Circle never got off of the ground. Here I am again, in a much better place, ready and looking forward to connect with authors who need real tools, experienced guidance, and clarity around book publishing. ⁠

On Sunday nights I'll meet those writers who are apart of the circle. We'll catch up on our works in progress and encourage each other and provide advice and accountability when needed. I am so excited and I look forward to growing with this community." ⁠
