END OF AN ERA

This week marked the close of an important chapter for Queanbeyan District Basketball Association, with the resignation of three incredible life members. Carol Duvall with 30 years, Gus Gorman with 30 years and Jan Browne with an amazing 45 years. Together, that’s 105 years of experience, memories and dedication given to the game, the club and the community.

From teaching skills on the court to shaping the lives of so many Queanbeyan kids off it, we all have a basketball memory to share and can all agree their impact has been enormous ♥️🏀

The streets of Queanbeyan were lined this morning as locals gathered to commemorate the 110th ANZAC Day.

Veterans, service members, schools, and community groups all came together to honour the sacrifices of those who served.

A new inclusion for 2025 was the New Zealand national anthem, sang by the Queanbeyan Choir.

A beautiful show of respect, unity, and reflection 🇦🇺🇳🇿
