Common misconceptions about starting an online business 📱

For some reason, some people still think you need to have these things to run an online business.

We definitely didn’t and still don’t have these things.

“You have to have a big following on social media”
This isn’t true 99% of people starting out build business pages from scratch and start with 0 followers

“You have to be travelling”
You have probably seen families on social media travelling around Australia in caravans that have built online businesses using the same business model we do, and it has allowed them to travel full time. But the you don’t have to be travelling.

“You need to have an exciting life”
You don’t have to at all there have been plenty of people that have built really successful businesses and all of the content that they have posted is of them at home in their backyard.

The great thing about that is you will attract lots more like minded people and build connections with them.

How much money will I make ? and how fast will I start making it? 💰💰

They are both questions that come up when people ask us about our high ticket affiliate marketing business.

It’s a hard one to answer because everyone is different, some people start making money straight away, and other people can take a while.

Some people learn quicker than others with the training, other people might have previous experience in marketing and setting up business pages.

Some people might have more time that they can spend each day working on the business because they aren’t working and don’t have kids and other people might only get an hour or two a day because they are working full time and only get a chance after their kids go to bed at night.

You aren’t guaranteed of making any money you still have to put the work into the business.

Just being honest with you, you might have seen lots of people on TikTok recently claiming they have all been making 5 figures in the first week doing high ticket affiliate marketing and how easy it is. It’s not completely impossible to do but most of them aren’t making that much straight away.

It’s not a get rich quick scheme. You do have an uncapped earning potential through an incredible compensation plan that could change your life.

You can build the business as a side hustle or you can scale it to as big as you would like.

Do you have to be tech savvy to start an online business? 💻

When we are talking to people about what we do online a lot of the time people say I couldn’t do that I’m no good with technology.

Neither are we. I’m just a bloke that’s cut grass for years after I finished school. I hadn’t touched a laptop after I left school until almost 6 months ago.

It took me a little bit to work out how to use it and find things on it but that’s what’s great about starting something like this, you get to learn new skills.

When you first get started you will probably use your phone to do everything if you don’t have a laptop already and the platform we use has hundreds of training videos that guide you from the very first step.

Another thing that’s great is if you do get stuck with something and can’t work it out, you have us as mentors to help you.

Our mentors are awesome and have helped us heaps.

Before we started we had no idea a lot of the things we are using now even existed.

So if not being tech savvy is the only thing stopping you from reaching out and finding out about starting an online business don’t let it stop you most of us knew nothing about it!

Do you really want to be working in your 70’s?

The age that you can start getting the pension increased from 65 to 67 this year. It’s predicted that it will increase to 70 by the time we retire and hopefully not higher. The age you can access your super is slowly increasing with it.

Are you in a job that is pretty physical with lots of manual labour, or even one that you are on your feet all day?

Do you think you will be able to do it day in day out through your 60s or do you think you might struggle, because your body has had enough? You have probably done it most of your life.

With the cost of living rising the way it is right now, there will probably be a fair few people that won’t have enough money saved for that extra 5-10 year if their body gives in.

That’s one of the reasons we wanted to try something different and build an online business. We are building this when we get home from our jobs of a night time. We would rather work hard on everything now and build a great future for ourselves, instead of doing it the normal way which is to have jobs and work really hard until hopefully we are old enough to retire.

Working all that time so we can enjoy maybe 10 maybe 20 years of retirement if we are lucky.

That doesn’t sound that great to us.

Everyone at some point in life has tried to seek approval and validation from others. But the truth is, you should never let someone else's opinion question your own self-worth.

Here are a few reasons why you shouldn't give a s**t about what people think:

1️⃣ You are Unique: Each of us is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Embrace your quirks, your differences, and your individuality. It's what makes you special.

3️⃣ You Can't Please Everyone: No matter what you do, there will always be someone who disagrees or finds fault. So why exhaust yourself trying to please everyone?

There are so many things you can do to make money online.

We were searching for ways that we could start creating extra income.

We came across high ticket affiliate marketing and asked for some information about it.

After we found out about the company and products they offer, we knew we had found something great!

We are feeling motivated more than ever.

We took a bit of a break from our business a month or so ago, as you may have seen.

The great thing about the business model we have chosen to use is you can have a break whenever you feel you need to and pick it back up exactly where it was.

It’s exactly what we needed to do at the time and now we are both super motivated to teach as many families as we can about the options of working online.

We’ve had a taste of the future, Parky had a few months off during winter as his job is mostly seasonal work.

He was home every day living our day to day with Sienna and I. Far out you know what.. we are literally living our dream without realising it’s all falling into place. We motivate each other every day it’s the connection when we are all together. Constantly manifesting our life.
LIVING IN THE MOMENT.

We are actually a great team.
We practise gratitude everyday.
We make time for our selves every day.
We make time for our family every day.
We make time for our business every day.
These are our priorities every day.

We’re going to keep chipping away at the life we are creating for ourselves, a bit of commitment and determination and you’re already on your way! Great things come for those who are willing to wait! Play the long game, all those small choices we make every day will shape the life we WANT.

Dig deep, what are you goals for the rest of the year? or even 1 year from now?

When we started this we didn’t even really know how to achieve a goal or even set one. Our expectations were so high they were unrealistic. We spoke about starting to venture online but never took action. That was getting us no where. We both struggled with being new parents, beyond exhaustion, stressed, stuck in a fog with no motivation to do anything to change. We both struggled with our mental health on a day to day basis. We knew something had to change. We reached out to some friends who are working online and absolutely thriving. We set up a phone call and that phone call changed it all. We knew we couldn’t let this opportunity pass. It ticked all our boxes.

This year has been a massive year of growth for us both and a family.
We are not where we were 12 months ago.
We didn’t expect the product & personal development would change our overall wellbeing and quality of life.
We took a chance and its paid of in ways we never imagined.

🙌 Do You Practice Gratitude ?

So, you’ve probably heard that being grateful is a good thing, right? It helps shift your focus from what you lack to what you have, promoting a more positive and optimistic outlook on life.

Here are some reasons why you should use gratitude:

* Boosts Happiness
* Improves Health
* Reduces Stress
* Enhances Resilience
* Fosters Positivity

A good way to start doing it is to write 5-10 things about your day that you are grateful for.
I’ve been doing this and once you start doing it after a while you start feeling grateful for lots of little things you didn’t even think about before.

FEAR

Is often regarded as the number one obstacle preventing people from realizing their full potential. This emotion can manifest in various forms.
Fear of failure, fear of rejection, or fear of the unknown.

Fear keeps people within their comfort zones, where they feel safe and in control. Venturing beyond this zone is NECESSARY for growth!

Overcoming these fears involves educating yourself, seeking support from mentors or peers, and starting small to build confidence.

That was us almost 12 months ago, absolutely petrified to bet on ourselves.

All the normal fears went through our heads like can we really do this? Will it work out?
The answer is absolutely it will work out.
It’s already working out in ways we wouldn’t have imagined.
The people we’ve connected with
The product that is changing our life
The platform we have learnt everything from
The potential financial success is beyond our wildest dreams.

It’s possible to start something NEW even if you’re scared. I mean heck we did it! Absolutely fearing the unknown we still jumped in!

We live in a world where it's so easy to compare ourselves to others. Whether it's their job, their holidays, buying a house, business success or even their seemingly perfect lives on social media, we've all been there.

Remember, what you see is often just the highlight reel. We all have our own unique paths, strengths, and struggles. Comparing yourself to others only steals your happiness and self-worth. 🙅‍♂️

Hey everyone!
We have been quiet the last couple of weeks.

We definitely needed a little break and reset. So that’s exactly what we’ve done! We have had a whirlwind of a month. So excited for what’s in store for our family and our business.

We have had a bit going on lately with Sienna. After 2.5 years and lots of different appointments we have finally received her formal diagnosis of ASD. Although we always knew this would be the outcome, it’s a lot of relief off our shoulders to know now that she will receive all support necessary and to know we’ve done everything possible to get her here is great. It’s a great reminder too that with persistence and determination
Anything is possible!

Our weeks are quite full looking after our girl, balancing our normal jobs and our business sometimes it becomes alot for us to juggle and that’s okay we are only human after all. Knowing we are making the necessary sacrifices and choices to help better ourselves and our future is the best thing we can do for us, we love everything about this business and can’t wait to see what the next few months bring!
