Tonight, Mad Professor meets the final boss of his Dubs Down Under Tour. Byron.

KONG and the Dudley Flats Rockers go bayside, wet and ready for a rub-a-dub. There are rumours of new covers and a rising leader in the group. Their final showdown w the mad man will reveal all, when he mixes the gang live one last time.

Who will he choose to remain in the mix? Who will fall? If there are no drums and bass, is it still dub? What is dub? All these (dub)wise hypotheses the Professor will conclude, tonight!

Roots Recycled Sound System will interlude the affair from 8pm, and MC Mareebo may join the Rockers for a few old ones. Post-10pm to close, Prof will deliver his concluding statements, culminating his Bali to Byron hero’s journey with one last dub set.

In Brisbane this Thursday, Mad Professor dubs KONG and the Dudley Flats Rockers live, plus his extensive solo DJ dub set, ever-morphing to person, place and atmosphere.

Local Hex Sound System DJs will be there, and you’ll be there at the Crowbar from 7pm for a night of dub, roots, reggae, jungle, and maybe some trip-hop and (most likely) disco and 70s soul. We’re surprised each night by what gets dubbed and how.

Mad Professor dubs The Gong tonight, rolling down with KONG and the Dudley Flats Rockers from arguably the peak show of the tour thus far in Sydney. The Professor and Rockers are cooking.

In Wollongong tonight, Owen “King OPP” Penglis brings his decks and rocksteady vinyl collection for doors, until Melbourne roots reggae band (or the best living roots band in the world) KONG and the Dudley Flats Rockers get dub mixed live by the mad man himself. Prof follows with his in-cred-ible solo DJ dub set, and Tuff Tone Sound System DJs round up the night.

In Sydney tonight, Mad Professor and posse stop in to the Oxford Art Factory for a night of dub. Do you like dub? There will be dub, live roots reggae (dubbed), lovers rock, digi dancehall, jungle, and periphery pop (dubbed). Dub it a night of dub overseen by the best in dub.

He’ll live dub mix ever-expanding Melbourne ragtag roots collective KONG and the Dudley Flats Rockers (now even ft a pedal steel in the crew… must hear this dream combo), and perform his renowned solo DJ dub set of Ariwa deep cuts to the heart and sent into outer space.

Local Inner West Reggae Disco Machine will be there to select between sets, etc, and the one and only Ibo Jah will take the mic. If you came to our Scientist shows in Melbourne and Sydney in 2023, you’ll remember him well.

This Friday in Canberra, Mad Professor rolls in off two massive shows in Victoria with General Levy and KONG and the Dudley Flats Rockers, to dub the capital.

We have local Communifi Sound DJs to open doors at 7pm, until Mad Professor sits at the desk and mixes Melbourne band KONG and the Dudley Flats Rockers live, which can only be heard to be understood how incredible that has been thus far really. Then of course the mind-blowing headline Mad Professor dub set for as long as he’ll be allowed (until venue sound-curfew in this case).
