It’s back! The Holiday Maker Summer Hall Bash returns to the hallowed Repentance Creek Hall on Sat 20 Dec for the annual solstice party ☀️🌞☀️

Our third annual with live performances, art and installations from the Holiday Maker extended family 🩷

Program-wise we’re honoured to welcome personal fav Peter Westheimer back to the stage, alongside label heavyweights Family Jordan and JB Paterson who’s also running sound this year. Noise Xhurxh and Super Carry on the more esoteric side of things plus newcomers General Admission (Smells Like Nanna’s House) and Tommy Ray Jones (Donny Love).
Radio Nanyang and Trusted Friends DJs tending the dancefloor while we serve up bar and grill yum yums from the Studio Mimi Tuckshop. Throw in a meat tray raffle and other goodies and it’s set to be quite the do 🪩

Supported by Husk Rum, Ink Gin, Common People Brewing Co and Devine Quality Meats 🤝

The Echo Locator live music series is so back for the Spring ‘Hector the Crocodile’ edition on Sat 15 Nov, 12-7pm in the Quad 🐊 Coinciding with the return of Eat The Street Festival 🍳

Featuring a groundshaking selection of live dub reggae, jungle and d&b music powered by Lismore’s own Submerge System 💥

Melbourne-based instrumental dub reggae band KONG and the Dudley Flats Rockers perform two curated sets of both originals and covers. Byron-based 420 Sound are joined by SK Simeon on the mic. Trusted Friends and Holiday Maker spin some roots on wax. And the Submerge System crew perform two massive sets on their very own soundsystem. An XL day for Lismore not to be missed❗️🚨

Following the Autumn ‘Microbat’ and Winter ‘Glowing Cross’ editions of the Echo Locator series, the Spring event honours the local legend of Hector the Crocodile - a saltwater croc who escaped from a travelling reptile circus at the 1967 Lismore Show and continued living in the Wilsons River through the ‘60s and ‘70s, before mysteriously disappearing around the time of the 1974 floods 🌊

Celebrating the 2nd anniversary of ⓅⓄⓅ ⓇⒶⒹⒾⓄ‘s debut album Small Steps, Tiny Doors 📻

The Pop Radio story begins with Alex Halsey’s decision to make a cross-country voyage in his grandfather’s Falcon, with a box trailer full of music gear. Perth to Sydney via the desert, where he dialled in the Pop Radio sound during the pandemic. Then from Sydney to the Northern Rivers, where the album was layered to tape from a home studio visited by floodwaters.

Alex is currently living in WA while putting the finishing touches on the next album, which was recorded in Repentance Creek Hall over 2 summers ⚡️ more on that soon 📡

Announcing the ‘Echo Locator’ live music series presented by Holiday Maker in the Lismore Quad over 4 seasons.

Inspired by the process of echolocation, the concerts will investigate sonic and spatial orientations in the Quad, with the themed editions exploring local phenomenon in multi-art formats.

O.R.B the organic rock band bring a night of overdrive, rhythm & bass to the Northern Rivers for the first time on Fri March 14 at the Bowlo 🌕

With a new line up and a return to a power trio, O.R.B will play a medley of material from their discography, on-the-spot improv & brand new songs. Joining them on the night are Garage/R&B headhunters The Sleeves ⭐️

A fuzz friendly full moon event presented by Holiday Maker 🌚
