I think these are known as mandarin duck. For Chinese "Yuan Yang", they are symbol for loving couples.

Family outing lovely. Surprised to run into them after a month plus from last sighting. Thought the chick's would have left nest.

This is as close as we can get to the Singapore Mouse deer. Some were wild at Bukit timah hill, but we were never lucky enough to spot one.
