I like this album. It’s melodic, fuzzy, nostalgic and has just the right amount of Brit Pop around the edges.

Remembered Adventures in Widescale by Marlophone turned up out of nowhere with a handwritten note and a very pretty slab of vinyl.

We don’t know them. They don’t know us. This is exactly the sort of surprise postman behaviour we encourage.

Played it loud. Liked it a lot.

A little glimpse from Lana de Jager’s Second Spring opening.

I went along as part of my ongoing Jimmy Hornet field trips: artists, exhibitions, odd corners, and creative things happening in actual rooms.

Lovely work, lovely crowd, and a reminder that looking closely is still a very good use of time.

Thanks to my big sister, I now own my first piece of Megan Salmon.
