This year’s Conservative Political Action Conference might have hosted fewer attendees than in years past, but the MAGA faithful who turned out for America’s oldest conservative political conference remained an enthusiastic bunch, expressing their passion in elaborate flag-themed garb, logoed caps, and sequins galore.

Matching looks also ruled the day at CPAC 2026: uniformed law officers in the same close-cropped haircuts grouped together near a crew of women clad in identical gold blazers sparkling under the lights of the Ga***rd Texan Resort and Convention Center. Height-enhancing cowboy boots and hats were also in ample supply, as were bedazzled jackets that expressed various political messages or the stars and stripes.

Photographer Jack Califano was on the ground in Grapevine, Texas, to capture the scene at CPAC, which might have lacked the headliners of years past, but was still rich with colorful characters. See them all at the link in bio.
