ed and has trekked the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda to see the endangered Mountain Gorillas, has gone scuba diving from Lake Malawi to the Cook Islands and has her motorbike license. She is also the sole Director of Wealth Planning Partners, a financial advisory firm and Trusted Aged Care Services, helping families navigate the maze of Aged Care. She is a proud supporter of the financial services industry and a champion for raising financial literacy levels. Amanda is a member of four industry organisations, and has voluntarily taken the Banking and Finance Oath. Along with being a Premium Member and event partner with Business Chicks, she is a proud supporter of the charities The Hunger Project and Hands Across the Water. People often ask ‘how do you do it?’ And the truth is, with a great support network of friends, family and team. Amanda seeks to turn the complicated into something simple, that everyone can understand, breaking down the complex into plain English. At the age of 18, she started work in a small financial advice firm, and ten years later, started advising herself and rebranded the business to become Wealth Planning Partners. Thirteen years after that, she bought the business in its entirety, having by then completed her Masters in Financial Planning and raised her two children on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Amanda has published her first book, 'Financial Secrets Revealed' and has now turned it into a podcast of the same name. As a passionate philanthropist, Amanda also wants to make a difference. She sits on the QLD Development board of The Hunger Project Australia, and has been a Tripper with visits to Uganda, Malawi and India under her belt. Amanda is an industry speaker, emcee and regular panelist at industry events who has been featured by the Association of Financial Advisers, AFA Inspire, the Financial Planning Association, the Million Dollar Round Table, TAL, AON, Conexus Financial and Financial Standard.
