राजपरिवारको विनम्रता
तत्कालिन राजा र रानी आफ्नी गर्भवती छोरी श्रुतिलाई भेट्न उत्साहित भएका थिए। राजा बीरेन्द्र र रानी ऐश्वर्या बिना कुनै सुरक्षा तंत्र आम नागरिक जस्तै ठमेलमा रहेको आफ्नो छोरीको घरमा पैदल नै गए। फोटोग्राफर नरेन्द्र श्रेष्ठले त्यसको फोटो गुप्तचरमा खिच्नुभएको थियो। यसपछि त्यो फोटो कान्तिपुरमा प्रकाशित भएको थियो। यो ईसिहासको कथा, जसमा राजशी जोडीको नम्र स्वभाव देखिन्छ सो चर्चाको विषय बनेको थियो, आज पनि छलफलको विषय रहेको छ। विशेष रुपमा, यातायातलाई रोकेर आम नागरिकलाई असुविधा पुर्याउने मन्त्रीहरूको सवारीको सन्दर्भमा यो कथा आज पनि छलफलको विषय बन्दै छ।
The Royal Couple's Humility
The royal parents, King Birendra and Queen Aishwarya, were excited to meet their pregnant daughter, Shruti. They walked on foot like ordinary citizens without any security to their daughter's house in Thamel. Photographer Narendra Shrestha secretly took a photo of them, which was later published in Kantipur. The photo became the subject of discussion as it showed the humble nature of the royal couple. Even today, it is still a matter of discussion, especially in the context of the inconvenience caused to the general public due to ministers' rides that disrupt traffic.
