Another entry in the “How many things can we do in one day in St George” story.
- Started, as we do every Saturday with a brisk 5k along the Balonne with 20 or so friends and acquaintances
- Quick take away breaky from Delicate Cafe to fuel us for the day ahead
- A drive down past Nindigully to see the wheat harvest in action ( I saw 2 hours of repair work on a header, Eliza saw a bit more action later on)
- I headed back to St George for a 12 hole Ambrose at St George golf club while Eliza continued her harvesting adventures
- Eliza got a ride back to St George in the es**rt vehicle for the broken down header
- Eliza and the harvest crew had a late lunch at Riversands Winery and tried the new Sparkling Shiraz
- we wrapped up our day with a few hours at the Catholic Primary School Fete which is like nothing you’ve ever seen - Bar, Live Music, Yabbie Auction and Races, Melbourne Cup Calcutta

Day trip to cheer on the St George Under 18s Rugby League team to a preliminary final win. Stopped by the Outback Sculptures exhibition. Some amazing metalworking skills on display.
