Welcome to the small town of Bundoora!

The word Bundoora is derived from "Kelbundoora", the name of a 19th-century Wurundjeri tribesman.

Once your in the area, you will notice a vast majority land of greenery. This is also where you can find Mount Cooper, the highest point in inner metropolitan Melbourne.

We also found an ice cream shop who’s been in the business for a long period of time. They have an option for a regular ice cream, a gelato, and a gluten free gelato option too!

So if you’re looking to go somewhere not crowded, a little peace and quiet, hang out with some animals, and some gelato, this is the place for you. 🤗

Places to go to for food in Bendigo 😊

📍Spring Gully General Store is a rustic vintage vibe of a café. The exposed red bricks, vintage bike hang on the wall, plus the best potato pancakes I’ve ever tried is what makes this place unique.
I’m glad that this place was referred to me before we head home.

📍The Pepper Green Farm is known for its local produce. It has a farm to table concept which most people nowadays tends to enjoy. They also sell their own products inside such as teas, coffee, soaps etc. When we came here, we just ordered dessert as we were still full but, the owner was kind enough to entertain us and let us explore the area. We will definitely come back and try their menu.

📍Percy and Percy is one of the oldest and longest running café in Bendigo. And you will understand why. The food is delicious and well presented. The serving is big which for me is good for two people. I ordered Spanish Eggs which has toast, hollandaise, poached eggs, and bacon. I also ordered hot chocolate while my husband ordered coffee and a wrap. The place has a refreshing vibe to it and the aesthetic is a mixture of boho chic which I quite like.
