Compass registration is live!!! Come join the HOTTIES in a wintery August weekend playing compass-style competition at Domain Tennis Centre. Enjoy a day of fun, 'social yet still competitive' gameplay. Doubles will be on Saturday 9 August from 10am-5pm (you can nominate a partner, or we can provide one) and singles on Sunday 10 August. You are guaranteed to play at least 3 or 4 matches, and can register for either or both events at a cost of $15 per event per player. Please note that this is not a GLTA event and won't earn ranking points.

***In addition, there will also be a Saturday night event, with details to be announced soon.***

Registration closes Tues 5 August at midnight, with the draw most likely published on Thurs.

Recognised as the 🐐 of the Tasmanian Netball League, Ashlea had a 2024 to remember. Leading the HIIT Launceston Hawks Netball Club to a third premiership in a row, Mawer won her sixth MVP award after scoring 753 points throughout the season. She has now joined the Hawks Netball Club to play in the Victorian Netball League next season.

Congratulations to all of our finalists and thank you to everyone who had their say. We're hoping to catch-up with Ashlea soon to bask in the glory of her well deserved win! 📻

It was a gold rush for 24-year-old Tasmanian swimming champion, 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗺𝘂𝘀, at the 2024 Paris Olympics, with 'Arnie' taking home two gold and two silver medals. In a record-breaking year, she became the first female Australian to defend an Olympic 400m title, helped set a Olympic record in the 4x200m relay, and broke the 200m freestyle world record at the Australian trials. 🏊‍♀️🥇

The mighty 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 were on the march in 2024! Coach Scott Roth's sides biggest achievement was breaking though to win the their inaugural NBL crown in March with a clutch finals series — a feat made even more impressive given the club remains a relative newcomer to the league. The Tasmania JackJumpers remain a shot of going back-to-back with a strong finish, currently sitting 6th on the ladder with a six games to come in the regular season. 🏆🏀🐜
