STREWTH!! Imagine a streaming world without our distinctive Aussie voice, playfulness and storytelling!!??

We need to look no further than what tragically happened to our commercial free-to-air children's TV shows, when the government scrapped local content quotas: MOST of them STOPPED being made.

Crikey! RIP 'Totally Wild' and 'Scope' for starters.

Now that the majority of eyeballs are pinned to international streamers' screens, it's more important than ever, that we keep the government honest in their original pledge to help protect the local industry, stories and unique Aussie identity, by introducing local content quotas for streamers. You can help, too, by adding your moniker to this petition and spreading it far and wide. Thank you to those who've read this far!

I’M STILL ON A (NATURAL) HIGH FROM last week’s shenanigans at the 2025 Australian Children’s Content Summit (ACCS)!

It was my first time playing in the ACCS sandpit (held in the glorious town of Coff’s Harbour), and it’s got to be one of the fun-est*, most collegial conferences I’ve EVER been to!**

Granted, I must have rocks in my head for wanting to create children’s content at a time when it’s never been so tough to play in this space – thanks, largely, to the removal of mandatory children’s TV content quotas in Australia (RIP Totally Wild) but … after hanging out with so many talented good eggs and basking in so much positivity and creativity, I’ve come away feeling more determined than ever, to make shows for this critical audience.

They are our future changemakers.

A BIG SHOUT OUT to ACCS organisers, and also Screen Queensland for their market grant which helped put me in ‘the room’, and pitching our eggciting funny factual ‘Bad Rap’.

*Again, I know that’s not a real word.
