❗ Scone Road: Reopening Wednesday 17 December
👉 Repairs to the major landslip on Scone Road are nearing completion, with the road scheduled to reopen Wednesday 17 December, weather permitting. Reestablishing connection between Gloucester, the Barrington Tops National Park and the upper Hunter Valley.

Although the road will reopen, more work is required with the second phase of work likely to begin in early 2026, pending funding approval from the Federal Government. Additional updates will be provided prior to the next phase of works.

🙏 A huge thank you to the crews who’ve worked tirelessly since late May to restore this vital connection prior to Christmas, and to the community for your patience.

We are absolutely heartbroken to learn that the original Wybong Hall has been destroyed by fire this morning.
So many memories have been made there in the more than 100 years it has acted as a hub for the community.

Back in 2021 we featured the hall as our Not For Sale, and it was so clear how much the hall meant to the community.
