Greater Adelaide Local Business Awards 2025 🏆

A REAL award, for a real business ❤

I am excited to say I have been nominated in the professional business category, which is rather super and exciting!!!!

As you all know, I am incredibly proud of the work I do as a Wedding and Funeral celebrant, so this nomination means a lot 😍
Winning would also be great, but honestly the nomination is a validation in itself... I go on a bit about 'awards' in the wedding industry, and honestly a lot of them are as fake as f # , you pay = you win!!!
That's a no thanks from me 👎

This award? Local, Adelaide, and I didn't pay a penny for it 👍

You can vote for me here, or use the QR code (please and thank You) -

Giant’s Cave - is a natural feature within Morialta Conservation Park, located approximately 20 minutes from Adelaide, city centre.

The cave is accessible via the First Falls Walk, a 1.6-kilometre trail that meanders alongside Fourth Creek, passing through Morialta Gorge. Along this trail, visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of the natural environment, including the presence of frogs and occasional koalas resting in tall river red gums. The path crosses several bridges before reaching a set of approximately sixty steps leading up to Giant’s Cave.

Giant’s Cave is one of several caves nestled within the cliffs of Morialta. While its name suggests grandeur, the cave is massive in size, accommodating several people comfortably and offering a vantage point to appreciate the surrounding vegetation and . dramatic cliffs. The cave’s geological formations provide insights into the area’s natural history, showcasing the processes that have shaped the region over millennia.

Historically, the land encompassing Morialta Conservation Park was inhabited by the Kaurna people, who utilised the area for hunting, gathering, and sourcing materials for fire and shelter during seasonal movements from the coast. The park’s European history began in the 1840s with activities such as tree felling, mining, quarrying, and grazing, which significantly impacted the native vegetation. In 1901, James Smith Reid acquired 405 hectares around the headwaters of Fourth Creek. In 1912, he donated 120 hectares and sold an additional 90 hectares to the state government, leading to the establishment of Morialta Falls as a National Pleasure Resort in 1915.

Today, Morialta Conservation Park offers visitors a blend of natural beauty and cultural history, with Giant’s Cave serving as a testament to the area’s rich geological and anthropological significance.

My Story

Hi and welcome to my buisness page, all about doing THE best job! Not many people can say they literally get to go to strangers weddings on a regular babsis! My name is Deborah Lilley and I am a qualified Civil Marriage Celebrant. I am professionally trained and legally authorised by Australian Commonwealth Law to solemnise marriages anywhere in Australia and its Territories. I am also able to conduct any type of ‘non-legal’ ceremony you wish for, for instance baby namings, Vow renewals, and also Life Celebrations as an alternative to a traditional funeral. I abide strictly to the Code of Practice for Celebrants and am a member of two professional bodies. The Association Of Civil Marriage Celebrants Of SA (INC) ACMCSA (www.marriagecelebrantssa.com.au/) and The Australian Federation Of Civil Celebrants (The AFCC) (www.afcc.com.au)

I am a vibrant, fun loving and young at heart person. I especially love anything vintage, from the 20’s flapper days to 50’s rock-and-roll. I have an extensive retro dress collection that I’ll happily wear for any occasion, but especially when it fits into the look of a Wedding! I am also a film fanatic and a secret geek. I grew up on a screen diet of Star Wars, Dr. Who and all things Si-Fi (Thanks to my Dad) and love the opportunity to let out my inner geek in Wedding ceremonies. Do you want a Celebrant whos comfortable to dress up? Then I’m your girl!

I am flexible and it would be my pleasure to work creatively with you to deliver your perfect ceremony, whatever the occasion may be. I see it as my job to put your dreams into action, to make your vision a reality. I wholeheartedly support marriage equality for all couples, regardless of religion, race or gender, and I am a confident public speaker with a clear voice.

My motto is ‘My passion, Your wedding, Your way’ as I feel that reflects my commitment to your very special and unique day.
