Tonight’s thoughts... 🤔💭

I had a moment today when an educator wished me “good luck” with homeschooling, followed by a rather... pointed comment 😅 “I think you’re mad.” I couldn’t help but wonder, isn’t it sad that she can’t even imagine a different path? That she can’t be happy for us? 🤷‍♀️ It’s like she’s so institutionalized that the thought of breaking free from the norm is just unthinkable. 😔

But you know what? I’d rather my kids see me being a little “mad, sad, happy, crap, and loving” every day 🌈💕 than not. Being present, being authentic, being their mom - that’s what matters. 💯

Dropping them off to strangers, hoping they’re cared for... that just doesn’t feel right to me. 🙅‍♀️ I’ve seen what happens to kids who don’t feel like they belong, who feel abandoned... and I’m done people-pleasing. 🙅‍♀️💪 I’m done compromising on what I know is best for my children. 🌟 Here’s to embracing the unknown, and being a little “mad” in the process 😜❤️
