Great to have three of my articles featured in the BETTY and DON magazines.

My pieces include Ken Muston’s restored 1934 Chrysler Convertible, a conversation with Greater Shepparton Secondary College executive principal Barbara O'Brien and a profile on Shepparton-born guitarist Sophie Giuliani, who is now making a name for herself in Los Angeles.

Had a fantastic evening at the Shepparton Art Museum for the annual John Furphy Memorial Lecture.

It was great to hear Marnie Baker, CEO of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, discuss her journey and especially the importance of Regional Australia and its communities.

I also learnt that this year marks 150 years since John Furphy set up shop in Shepparton.

And as always, excellent refreshments by Elsewhere at SAM.

History has always been a fascination of mine, so it was great to visit our very own History Hub in Shepparton, which had its grand opening recently.

The Shepparton News archives are also on display at the hub, with some papers dating back to the early 1900s.
