Mundi Mundi Bash Update: All Systems Go!

The Outback has had a decent drink over the weekend, and while Mundiville is looking a little wetter than usual right now, the festival is absolutely going ahead as planned.

The good news is that Broken Hill is currently accessible from all directions (with caution). The road between Broken Hill and Mundiville is temporarily closed due to localised flooding; however, current local advice indicates it is expected to reopen by the end of the day, restoring access to Mundiville.

For those who have booked to stay at Broken Hill Racecourse Overflow Camping, the racecourse camping area will be open and accessible as planned.

With seven days before our first festival-goers roll in, we’re expecting the site to dry out nicely over the coming week. Our crew is on the ground and preparations are continuing.

As always, we recommend checking your planned route before setting off for Broken Hill and the Bash. There has been significant rain across parts of the wider Outback region, and some roads may have been affected.

Please check the latest official road conditions for your route before travelling. Local councils are generally the best source of up-to-date road condition information. Plan ahead, allow plenty of time and travel safely.

For now, it’s full steam ahead at Mundiville. We can’t wait to throw open the gates, welcome you to the Outback and get the festival underway.
