Round Nine of Coalfields Cup cricket action continued last Saturday in sweltering conditions across the district, and with the mercury peaking at forty degrees in some parts it became a real battle of attrition for players in all grades.

The 27-year-old is living out a lifelong dream with the legendary Moulin Rouge company in Paris, a passion that began right here in the Hunter Valley.

Parisian star Jasmine Bard returned home to perform at a Maitland venue.
