🎥 3 Types of Video Every Business Needs in 2025.
Video is no longer just a trend — it’s one of the most powerful ways to build your brand, share your message, and connect with your audience.
But it’s not just about filming “something.”
It’s about knowing what kind of videos actually work.
Here are 3 formats I recommend to every business — and the ones we’ve been exploring during my recent workshops:
1️⃣ A-Roll – You, speaking your truth
This is your face on camera — a message, interview, or direct intro.
It builds trust, shows your energy, and puts a real human behind your brand.
📍Use for: your website, About section, Reels, Stories, presentations
📱 Just film on your phone near natural light, with clean sound — that’s all you need!
2️⃣ B-Roll – The world around your brand
These are your behind-the-scenes shots: your workspace, hands at work, product moments, and visual vibes.
📍Use for: promos, Reels, website banners, presentations
📱 Film a few seconds during your daily routine — it adds up fast.
3️⃣ UGC-style Reels – Native, raw, real
Short, casual clips that feel authentic. With captions, trending audio, quick edits.
These are the most engaging videos on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
📍Use for: Reels, Stories, ads, reach-building content
📱 Edit in Canva or CapCut — simple and fast.
🎯 These three styles work together to create a strong, real brand presence — without overproducing or overthinking.
And yes — they can all be filmed on your phone.
