What happens when we choose to PLAY??

Today I felt like playing with a bit of “Maria” from West Side Story. I was lucky enough to perform the role of Tony many hundreds of times across Australia in 2010/11. This is when my performance anxiety was at an all time high. I literally shat myself thinking about that top Bb before every show. Scared to death I crack!! How I wish someone shared with me the value of PLAY back then. It would have had a profound impact on my mindset going into each show. ✨❤️

🎭✨ What an incredible evening celebrating the magic of Broadway! We could have danced all night with Amy Manford, Josh Piterman and Jessica Gethin - Conductor as they performed our favourites from West Side Story, Evita, Les Mis, Phantom (of course) and so many more.

Looking forward to three more spellbinding performances. There's nothing quite like hearing these incredible works performed live with a full orchestra! 🎺

What we see on the outside is rarely what’s going on on the inside. So often there’s the version of ourselves we present and project in order to seem enough! ‘Body Dysmorphia’ and subsequent bulimia is one of the many themes I openly discuss in the Behind The Mask book 📖. It’s been a life’s journey, as I know it is (silently) for many men. You’re not alone, there’s a path through it.
