An old mate of Mick's shared this pic from 1994. It was a promo shot from the launch of Jack Daniel's Racing at Eastern Creek.
There was a bit less of him in those days. 🤣

Let’s welcome Archie McDonald Racing to Bagger racing. Archie had his first ride on a Harley-Davidson Road Glide today at Phillip Island aboard the Joe Rascal Bagger.
Another couple of day’s testing is in front of him. It’s a long way from the Superbikes he’s been racing.

While putting the top-end back on Lady Liberty, his 1986 XLH1100 Sportster, Mick spotted this production date on the rocker box lower section.
Goes well with the 10/1985 build date. Happy 40th to the old girl!

Did you know the classic S&S Cycle teardrop is celebrating 50 YEARS since inception? Back in 1975, the super gas carburetor with the distinctive “teardrop” air cleaner was born and set a new S&S precedent. It combined the smaller venturi of the 1-3/4” carb with the larger outlet end of the 1-7/8” carb. In essence, one carb fit all! If you ran or STILL RUN a teardrop, let us know in the comments! What was your introduction to the classic teardrop?
