In this third episode for 2025-26 Peter Holmes talks on Christmas Night 2025 to Bartley McGowan about his journey in 2025 and the music that influenced him during the year.

Bartley has worked as a public sector trainer and is a qualified social worker. He also worked for some time as a volunteer support worker at the Victorian Aids Council during the height of the Aids Epidemic. Since retirement, he’s been living a spontaneous life and 2025 was very spontaneous and led to him becoming much more satisfied and open about who he is. The wonderfully varied music he has picked and his stories of 2025 tell of his growth as a person during the year. #2025 JOY 94.9

In this second episode for 2025-26 Peter Holmes talks to film critic and JOY presenter, Charlie Dunks (Pronouns: He/Him).
Glenn Charlie Dunks is a two-time Australian Film Critics Association award-winning film critic. His writing has appeared across Australian and international outlets including The Guardian, Vanity Fair, SBS, ScreenHub and The Big Issue. He has also represented AFCA on film festival juries in Europe (Stockholm, Liepzig) and the United States (San Francisco). He specialises in documentary, and in 2025 he founded and writes the online non-fiction review website reDocumented. He is also a co-host and producer of the weekly film and music program Strictly Soundtracks on internationally recognised + radio station Joy 94.9.

In this episode of For One Night Only (FONO) on , Pete Holmes talks to Out & Proud intersex and bi-sexual person and JOYlebrity Jason Turner (AKA Little Jason) – Pronouns he/they. Jason is the co-host of JOY’s bisexual program and presents JOY daytimes. Jason was born in 1973 with a skin disease called Aplasia Cutis Congenital, which meant that he was born without skin. He was also born with an intersex condition. He grew up on country along the east coast of Australia as an only child with his mother, even though he was one of 5 kids, and finally settled in Colac for his high school years.
