Attention up and coming illustrators: the 2025 Little Hare Illustration Prize is now open! This year’s text is Dinasour Stomp, a delightful story written by Sandhya Parappukkaran, author of the 2024 NSW Premier’s Literary Award-winning Stay For Dinner.

The Little Hare Illustration Prize was established to encourage unpublished and emerging artists to create new work and has previously helped a number of artists kick-start their careers. Our 2023 winner was Tess Moh, whos illustrations will be included in The Everyday Tutu, an enchanting book written by award-winning author Andrea Rowe.

Upon winning in 2023, Tess stated that ‘It’s a fantastic honour to win the 2023 Little Hare Illustration Prize! I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to work with Andrea and the team at Hardie Grant Children’s Publishing!’
