Today we decided to release a DIY Documentary of the making of Andrea Kirwin's 3rd Album, 'A Quiet Revolution'. This album was very much influenced by Andrea's love of Tracy Chapman. Can you hear it? This was filmed back in 2017. The album was recorded live at Govinda Doyle's Recording studio in the Gold Coast hinterland and filmed by Mélissa Cambon of the band SOLUA. There are a few physical copies of this album still available at Andrea's live shows. Do you own a copy?

In 2015 and 2016 Andrea used to busk regularly at Berkelouw Books in Eumundi on Market Days. This particular acoustic Album project came about from her busking set and featured Andrea's sister Litia Kirwin (now Litia Taukave). Enjoy the songs on this album, we've heard they're very regulating for your nervous system! Produced by Peace Run Records & Agency.

TW: Track 8 is a song Andrea wrote for her older brother Mosese Cava who passed away in 2011 but we didn't find out til 2020. We are so grateful he is at peace now x

Coming to Eudlo Hall on Friday 8 August is a very special concert collaboration by Gaba Musik and Peace Run Records & Agency🎶🌟 Blak:Story:Song featuring Wawumun, Deline Briscoe and Andrea Kirwin. 6pm doors for 6.30pm show start and tickets $25 with $20 concession and $10 youth tix. All welcome and there will be tea, coffee and cakes with licensed bar thanks to the wonderful hall volunteers.

Here's just a handful of artists we are covering as part of our Peace Run Rainbow Choir starting tonight at The Presynct! Come on down at 6.30pm for a fun, social sing in Nambour. This week we have two opportunities for Songwriters to join Andrea Kirwin and learn more about the art of putting lyrics to music. This Wednesday 9 July Andrea's hosting a youth songwriting workshop for ages 10 - 16 at Homegrown Cafe Palmwoods in the Tin shed from 10am - 2pm - byo instrument and writing pad and pencils and also on Saturday 12 July at Homegrown Cafe Palmwoods 10am - 2pm for 16 years and up. Get creative this winter and learn to share your stories through songs with Andrea. Ticket links below;
