Wanting more than motherhood is actually ok!

Being a mum is by far the most important and wonderful job I've ever had...it's a privilege to be able to raise little ones.

BUT something I've struggled with is trying not to feel guilty for doing something for myself or putting my own needs first.

When I do though, I realise I am so much more present with my kids, and so much happier- because I've filled my cup doing something that I want to do.

So when it comes to my career, I have just gone back and forth so many times about wanting to be with my kids all the time, but ALSO still having the drive to succeed outside of motherhood.

What I have found though, is it's very hard to find a job that doesn't require a large amount of life sacrifice, if you want to make a decent income or climb the corporate ladder.

The modern mum is expected to sacrifice in order to succeed.

Well no! I'm not prepared to do that- so like most things in my life, I started to think outside the box.
That's when I came across online opportunities - ones that aligned with my wellness values, provided training, a community, support, financial independence and automation. All of those things combined can lead to financial freedom, time freedom and location freedom.

Send me the word FREEDOM below and I'll share some no obligation info- and show you how you CAN be a career-driven mum without the sacrifice❤️

A man who's capable of being a girl dad to 4 is a rare find.
Someone who's able to navigate the emotions of the house delicately but with a pinch of masculine energy.
Who's able to teach our girls that they are capable of being strong and powerful and kind.

Happy birthday to the only person I could do this with. What beautiful chaos we've created together 🥰

✨ What smells “clean” isn’t always safe.
Most mainstream laundry products leave behind toxic residues + pollute our homes and waterways. Choosing simpler, safer swaps protects not only your family’s health, but also the planet 🌏💛

✨ Fabric Softeners → often contain quats (quaternary ammonium compounds) which can irritate skin, trigger asthma + mess with hormone balance.
✨ Fragrance Boosters → “fragrance” is a blanket term that can hide up to 3,000 synthetic chemicals. Many are linked to hormone disruption + respiratory irritation.
✨ Microplastics → every wash of synthetic fabrics (like polyester + nylon) sheds thousands of plastic fibres that end up in our waterways and in our bodies.

I absolutely used to think bottled water was a better option than tap water…

But here’s what I didn’t realise 👇

🚫 Plastic bottles leach chemicals + microplastics — especially when stored in heat.
🚫 Those plastics (like BPA + phthalates) are hormone disruptors that kids’ bodies are extra sensitive to.
🚫 Bottled water is often “dead” — filtered, stored, stripped of natural minerals our bodies need.
🚫 It’s expensive, and creates mountains of plastic waste.
🌿 Better options? Stainless steel or glass bottles filled with clean, mineral-rich water.

5 Nasty Ingredients to Watch Out For in Packaged Food 🍭🚫

It’s not about one lolly or one sausage roll… it’s about the everyday exposure of chemicals our kids’ bodies were never designed for. Here are some of the worst offenders hiding on ingredient labels:

👉 Artificial Colours (look for numbers like 102, 110, 122–129, 133, 142, 151, 155)
⚠️ Linked to hyperactivity, mood swings + allergic reactions. Many banned in Europe, but still legal here.
👉 High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) (listed as glucose–fructose syrup, corn syrup solids, or just fructose)
⚠️ Overloads the liver, spikes blood sugar, drives insulin resistance + sugar crashes.
👉 MSG + Flavour Enhancers (621, 627, 631, 635, yeast extract, hydrolysed vegetable protein)
⚠️ Excitotoxin → overstimulates nerve cells, linked to headaches + sleep/mood issues.
👉 Nitrates/Nitrites (preservatives 249–252, often in ham, bacon, hot dogs, salami)
⚠️ Can form nitrosamines (carcinogenic compounds) when cooked at high heat.
👉 Artificial Sweeteners (aspartame 951, sucralose 955, acesulfame K 950, saccharin 954)
⚠️ Messes with gut bacteria + brain’s sweetness signals, affecting appetite, mood + focus.

✨ Rule of thumb: If you see a long list of numbers + names you can’t pronounce, it’s usually a red flag. Whole, simple ingredients = always best.
Your kids’ bodies (and yours too!) will thank you 💛🌿

Did you know we’re surrounded by EMFs (electromagnetic fields) every single day?

They come from things like WiFi, phones, smart appliances + even baby monitors. And while we can’t escape them completely, here’s what science shows:

* ⚡️ Cellular stress → EMFs can disrupt how cells talk to each other, creating imbalance.
* 🧪 Oxidative stress → overexposure drives free radical damage, a root cause of chronic illness.
* 🌙 Sleep disruption → EMFs suppress melatonin, the hormone that helps us sleep + repair.
* 🧠 Neurological effects → linked in studies to headaches, brain fog + reduced concentration.
* 👶 Kids at risk → thinner skulls + developing brains make children more sensitive to exposure.

Simple shifts like turning off WiFi at night, limiting Bluetooth, and keeping phones away from the body can lighten the load.

And for extra support, we use an EMF harmoniser - comment ‘EMF’ below and I’ll send you some info on what it is.

Most people don’t realise these everyday items can be toxic!

The three things you won’t find in our kitchen (and what we use instead):

1️⃣ Non-stick cookware
* Most non-stick pans are coated with PFAS (“forever chemicals”), which don’t break down and can leach into food.
* Linked to hormone disruption, liver stress + fertility issues.
* Heat breaks down the coating → toxic fumes released into the air.
✅ We use stainless steel + cast iron — durable, safe + lasts generations.
2️⃣ Microfibre cloths
* Made from plastic fibers (polyester/nylon) that shed microplastics into waterways every wash.
* Microplastics can enter our food chain + have been found in human blood + placenta.
* Not biodegradable = landfill burden.
✅ We use woodpulp + cotton reusable cloths — compostable, earth-friendly, and just as effective.
3️⃣ Spray + wipe cleaners
* Conventional cleaners often contain ammonia, bleach + synthetic fragrance → irritate lungs, skin + hormones.
* Indoor air pollution can be up to 5x worse than outdoors partly because of these sprays.
✅ We use 2.5 pH Kangen water — antibacterial, chemical-free, safe for kids + pets.
🌿 Little swaps add up — for your health + the planet 💛
