Trying to film content for my kids’ show while working around the farmer… 😂🚜

He’s ready to start the job, and I’m running around trying to get the cameras set up, find the right angle and make sure I’m actually in the shot.

The farmer doesn’t wait for Aunty to be ready — if I’m not set up, I miss it! 🎥🌾

He plays a huge role in so many episodes and even features in the book Help Find the Big Green Tractor.

The kids love him, Aunty loves him, and sometimes… he definitely steals the show! 😂

One of the hardest parts about doing fortnightly episodes is that I get so excited about the next one... sometimes I forget it's not even out yet! 😂🌾

I know what's coming, I've already filmed it, edited it, and I can't wait to share it with you... but then I remember we still have to wait a whole fortnight. 😅

I promise it'll be worth the wait! 💛🚜

If I’m not ready when the farmer’s ready, I miss the shot. 🚜

That’s the thing about filming with real farmers — I can’t just ask them to do it again because I wasn’t ready.

When the farmer is ready to leave, he leaves. The tractor starts, the job begins and I have to be ready to go.

There’s no “can you wait five minutes?” or “can we do that again?”

I have to be ready when they are, because real farming doesn’t stop for the camera. 🌾

Here's what you didn't see on yesterday's episode! 🐝😂

When we lost the bees and they flew away, we didn't just give up!

We jumped in the car, jumped on the bike and chased them all the way down to the river, trying to find them again once they re-swarmed.

It definitely wasn't as simple as it looked on the episode! 😂🐝

Sometimes I don't think people realise just how hard it is doing everything myself. 💛

It's just me.

I make the episodes, write the books, write the songs, run the socials, film, edit, design, plan events, perform, do the admin, and everything else that comes with running Aunty's Farm.

It's a LOT. But this is my dream job, and I love what I've created. 🌾💛
