Happy Sabbath all!

*This is everlasting life* , that they may *KNOW* you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. (John 17:3)

In Jesus prayer to His Father here we see that eternal life is to KNOW God and His Son.

To know someone requires spending time with them, listening to them, seeing and pondering how they handle situations.

This isn't easy with God, as He is invisible to us and "His ways are higher than our ways." Paul even says:

_“Who has known the mind of the Lord?" (1 Cor 2:16)_

But we don't need to feel like it is impossible, because Paul gives the answer. We know the mind of God through His Son!

_"But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Cor 2:16)_

So let us study the gospel, which was the life of Jesus lived on Earth, so we can know God, and understand the truth of what Jesus said to Philip:

_8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you all this time, and still you do not know me, Philip? *He who has seen me has seen the Father.* How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’_
