And that's a picture lock on The Test, my directorial debut!

I think I drove Hing just as teensy bit crazy with all my edit refinements.

Now it's on to Dan Brown for sound design and Julia Potter for score. I can't wait to see the final product!

🎬 CASTING CALL – MALE ACTORS (40s)

We’re looking for a few male actors in their 40s for small speaking roles in an upcoming short film, *The Test*, which promotes awareness of prostate cancer testing.

The characters are everyday AFL "footy blokes" – natural, authentic performances preferred.

**Shoot Dates:**
• Saturday 20 June (afternoon) – Noosa AFL Grounds
• Saturday 27 June (afternoon) – Noosa AFL Grounds
• Monday 29 June (half day) – Woombye

Actors will be required for approximately 2 hours on each Saturday and a half day on the Monday.

These are paid roles (modest indie rates).

We’re continuing our Industry Panel speaker intros for the APAC Spotlight on Creative Careers Expo.

Next up: Hing Ang from Sunshine Coast Screen Collective and Aesop Media.

Hing is a cinematographer, editor and filmmaker whose work explores memory, identity and human resilience through documentary and narrative storytelling. Through Aesop Media, he has produced commercial, community and screen projects that blend cinematic realism with documentary intimacy.
He also mentors emerging filmmakers through the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective Junior Cadetship and Next-Gen Filmmaker programs, supporting the next wave of screen talent in Queensland.
