Sunday Spills!
Every Sunday, I share my most popular photo from the week, tell you the story and share my tips about how I took the photo.
‘Killer Sunsets’
One of the most amazing sunsets I have ever watched. This is most definitely one of my favourite sunset shots. It was taken in Hope Island on 24th of June.
The clouds this day where really interesting. There where lots of different textures. I could tell that it was going to be a good sunset if they stuck around. I had being paying close attention throughout the day to see if they would stick around for sunset. Luckily they did!
About 2 hours before the sunset, I went onto a website called Sunset WX. It is a website that forecasts the sunset. Areas that are marked bright red means that there should be a good sunset. This day, the whole of the Gold Coast was covered red.
After the sun had gone down, about 10 minutes after the colours really started to pop. I chose to get close to the water on this shot as the wind was very light which resulted in the reflections on the water.
