The The Inspired Unemployed made waves last week when they casually launched their new travel company, ARRIVAL. Despite already having a substantial social media following, they gained a further 90,000 Instagram followers in just the first few days after the announcement.

Travel Weekly spoke exclusively to Jack steele and Matt Ford (otherwise known as The Inspired Unemployed) as well as to co-founder and CEO Quentin Nolan, and general manager Trent Ellen about how ARRIVAL went from a pipe dream to a reality, and what we can expect from the platform that gets holidays out of the group chat and off the beaten path.

These guys continue to surprise and impress. Who knows what will be next!

The Women in Travel Awards aren’t just about celebrating the long-standing industry heavyweights. We also want to recognise and lift up those women who are at the beginning of their travel careers, but have already attained tremendous achievements and demonstrated a drive for excellence.

Cruiseabout Australia consultant Lucy Clayton found her calling in travel in May last year after five years selling Krispy Kremes. A year on, she was the first novice in the brand to qualify for Global Gathering, Flight Centre Travel Group’s big reward and recognition event at the end of every financial year.
